Uses? HL2 and WoW. They are both AGP, and I want it to last me a while before I upgrade everything to pcix. It'll probably be 2 years before I upgrade.

Or, if you have a better card under $300, hit me up with it. Thanks.

-----------------------------UPDATE--------------------------------

Where is the 6800GS? I waited a while and it still isn't out, even though several sites said "a week."

Kind of annoying, because now the 6800GT is no longer at new egg for agp.

So, if any of you have info about the agp GS or see the GT somewhere, I'd appreciate some linkage.

I just bought the 6600gt agp from MSI and love it... I say it if it gonna be awhile like you said go for the better card but if it will be sooner go with the 6600gt... but do the 6800

I personally would go for the X800XT, mainly cause i have it..and love it.

PVR is nice...

i would say hold off justttt a little more and see what the 6800GS clocks are at.. if they are the same as the PCI-e. get that.. because itll be better performance.

Yea I would get the 6800GS agp as an upgrade the older ati agp cards for all we know won't play the hottest games in 5 months because of sm3 or some other crap.
