Well I went into bois and changed memory speed from 330 to 400 and saved and restarted. After i restared nothing happend and now the cd drives wont start up. And it says Power save on the moniter. I would really like to know how to reset it.

Clear the cmos on the motherboard, there should be a jumper close to the battery or check your manual. That will reset the bios to the default settings and allow you to boot.

You can do it that way. The typical way is a jumper that you remove. There will be 3 pins, with the jumper contacting the middle pin and one of the end pins. You place the jumper in the other posistion so that it is contacting the middle pin and and the pin opposite of where it was. Wait about 30 seconds and then return the jumper to its original posistion. But you would want to verify that in the manual just to make sure it applies to your motherboard.

Sometimes, you may have to wait up till 15 minutes for the CMOS to completely clear-just a little info, so if it doesn't work right away, take it out and wait longer.
