Hard Drive issue?

i just recently picked up a Segate ST3320620AS. I have Windows XP on it. I was playing a game and then suddenly my whole machine locks up then reboots ~30sec later.

Now everytime I powerup my pc, it stops and reboots as soon as it gets to the windows splash screen. Is this a hardware issue (hard drive) or did my install just crap out?
 
for my experience, it is a hard drive issue. run your hard drive's manufacturer's diagnostics utilities to verify this.
