How funny would it be if they lower the TDP to match AMD 69xx series. (which is higher than the 58xx series)
That would be fucking hilarious if they did that and made it slightly faster.

I can't make that out to be honest.
oh my lord
The last line looks a little bigger and bolder I can see(if I squint) GF100 not GF110
So what are we looking at here, $500 a card? Trying to do my IT budget for this quarter and if the numbers look right I'll be getting three.
You get a free panda with the card right?![]()
question here. Even with improved design, are we to expect to need a nuclear reactor to still power the damned thing?
480 PCB no? Note no fan cutouts on the pics posted;

This seems to be it;

Looks good though, no heatpipes sticking out. As we don't have a top pic, I can only hope it's 100% external exhaust. Also, no backplateBring back the backplates!
So do these come with free wood screws?![]()
Excellent. The PCB holes and chip placement look EXACTLY the same on the 580 than on the 480. 480 waterblocks (and backplates) should fit fine.
The 'Little Tiger' pcb is not the same pcb as the 'GTX580' pcb
- the hole are different
- the LittleTiger pcb has 2x 8-pin Power connectors
- ergo, different pcb

VR Zone said:A GeForce GTX 570 is also expected, with roughly the same performance as GTX 480, but with much better thermal characteristics.
