GPU Comparisons

I can't seem to find an updated comparison grid of the common GPUs, so I'll ask a questions here. Which of these two cards will give a better overall gaming performance?

An eVGA 6200 AGP

or

An eVGA 5200 AGP

I've googled quite a bit, but none of the comparisons I find have either of those cards. Tom's Hardware used to have a .gif file that went top to bottom to include every gpu available at that time...but it was quite sometime ago.

ahhh...I can't find it now, but I just saw a 6600 out there (refurbished, but everything included) for 100$....brb with link...hopefully

Back to the OP. I'd choose the 6200, but I hope you're not planning on running any 3d games from the last 12-18 months. UT2k4 should be fine, but Far Cry and Doom3 will put the hurt on either of those cards.

Still, people use the intel 900 series to play games, so what do I know

Far and away the best resource on the internet for comparing the various characteristics of every notable video card is gpureview.com. IIRC, someone on these very forums put it all together.

Thanks for the link. I should have mentioned this won't be for any recent, intense games...it's more for whatever Linux has available. This will be going into a Ubuntu 5.10 machine.
