me and my friend LAN with each other every once in a while, usually only bf1942. what other games out there are fun to play against other people? all suggestions are welcome.

anyway, the games played at my lans are already listed, plus a few mods like Urban Terror for Q3, Tac Ops for UT, etc.
 
Serious Sam 2.

We(8 people) literally played that game on Hard difficulty all the way through the entire game. It was insane.
 
Operation Flashpoint is a great game for a bunch of people looking to do some strategic action together, though it's getting a bit old.

Also, Raven Shield kicks much ass if you have 6 or more people to DM

ABSOLUTELY...Serious Sam 1 and 2 are UNBELIEVABLY FUN when played on a lan...

Its pretty much like an arcade game with unlimited quarters.
