Gloss Screens?

Been hearing a little bit about a few new laptops with gloss lcd screens, and last night a colleauge at work baught his new laptop in which had a said gloss screen. and using in the brightly lit staff room i saw no problem with brightness at all.

so the question is are there any lcd widscreen monitors in the pipeline by any manufacturer? or am i going to have to upgrade?

The Acer Ferrari F-20 and the AL2032w both have the "crystalbrite" screen coatings similar to the more expensive NEC. I like it because the normal matte lcds always looked slightly fuzzy to me. It's a matter of personal preference though.

Also the Acer 2051W, which I just got this week, has a glossy screen. I think it looks great, but I haven't seen any other glossy widescreen in person.
