Hi

I want to play my gamecube on my ibook's screen. What hardware can do this? I looked at some firewire ones but they where really expensive. But I've also heard that USB 1/1.1 can be laggy. Is there something affordable, good quality, and MAC compatible?

Firewire is the only way to go if you want fluid, full screen video. I guess nowadays USB 2.0 would do the job as well, but Firewire has been used primarily for DV for a long time now.

Why do you want to use your iBook's screen? Yes, it runs from a battery, but the Gamecube requires an outlet anyway, so why not just get a portable LCD?
