G7 Question

I'm 99% sure about getting a G7, but I'm a little confused on the different version of it. I heard that they had the original version, but than shipped a new one with some upgrades. I want to order it from newegg, and they have 2 versions but I don't know what the difference between them is, and if they are the new one. The 2 are...

Get the black one. Definitely.

Besides the new coloring, it also has the same grip as the G5, which I personally believe is lightyears better than the original G7's. (it's what made me switch to the G5, back when Amazon had it for a few bucks)

i have the normal g7. also if you weren't aware the 2nd version has tilt wheel, may come in handy if you need more mouse buttons.
