I have a lightly used DS412+ with four 2tb WD Red NAS hard drives. I used this only to store movies and photos as backup drive. Has spent most of its life unplugged and unused still inside the original box. Recently took out to make another copy of my files, then updated and wiped clean. Ready to be used again like first time setup.
