nearly double
actually, maybe 1/3 more, because the 96 has good clocks, but the 88 has almost twice the number of shaders

Given the doubling of shader cores, and the 3/5 ratio of GFLOPS between the 9600gt and the 9800gt... at least on paper. (312vs504GFLOPS)
 
nitro, if you want a fan controller(which I know you do) and are willing to do a partial trade, im in desperate need of another vid card..... so lemme know
