Forza Horizon 6

Well the seasonal Togue challenge was fucking annoying. Either it immediately disconnects you because the other person left, or you leave because you realize you have no Mazdas in that vehicle class or something. Took me like 20+ tries, and the first time I completed one I didn't realize that you had to have a Mazda. Had a really good three races with some random dude though, last one was neck and neck and we each had one win. Absolute cinema.
You can see the restrictions by pressing right or left stick on the season menu.

I completed the rocket launch festival mission and now it's a full-on slog to unlock the last one. The map is now filled with drift areas and speed zones and whatnot, but they don't give you shit as far as points go.

I played an older forza horizon game and liked it, looks like this one is good.

I want to get a racing wheel, never had one before. It seems like it should be much more fun than KB/M or gamepad.

I looked at some setups and wanted to ask the [H] opinion.
The retailer I need to use has 4 options:

Thrustmaster T248X

Logitech G923 SE (which means G923 + their manual shifter accessory)

for similar prices (thrustmaster slightly higher but not by much).

T300 RS GT Edition is $108 more than the T248x. But I don't really want to keep increasing the budget (unless its like a RTX 5060 -> RTX 5080 type of jump or something)
Thrustmaster Ferrari T300 Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition
is also available but $170 more than the T248x.
The G29 / G920 aren't meaningfully cheaper than the G923 SE which seem superior.

I most likely will never try actual sim racing though, and I don't (at least for now) play many racing games.

What is your guys opinion on what I should get?

Do the actual races, they give you a lot more points. Doesn't take as long as it seems.

Any of those should be fine for what you want to do. I have a G920 and it works fine for these types of games. Though mostly I use a controller because for drifting it's way easier.
