Hello everyone,

I've been given a flash drive with advertising material on it. It is formatted as a CD-ROM drive and is recognized as such when I plug it into my computer. Thus, I cannot use it for my own files. Can anyone tell me how to reformat the file system so I can use like a normal flash drive?

More than likely is it read only. If I remember correctly there are mods available to enable write capability, but for the price they go for (deals are for what, $15 for a gig?) it isn't really worth it.

I'd still like to know how it's done. Do you know where I can get such a mod?

I don't have the link anywhere handy, and it seems the link isn't coming up via a few quick googles.
