FireWire Card Drivers?

I have a customers computer in that has Windows ME. We can't put anything higher on it because she's not going to pay us for XP.

She has a firewire card in her computer, a VisionTek VT1394. I have been unable to locate drivers for this model card and have searched for them for a while. I was hoping that someone who had the same card might have a driver disk of some sort.

If anyone has this, I'd really appreciate it.

according to M$ that card is indeed validated to work on windows ME (as per this link )

However, I'm going to have to give the dead horse a good ol' whack and say "ditch the windows me." I know it's not your call as it's a customer's box...but ME is god-awful.

also, although the card is validated by MS I couldn't locate any drivers either.

its got to be a Texas Intruments chipset, Id say pop it into an XP machine and see what it shows for specs in device manager.

Possibly you could get the chipset off the chip itseld and then search for drivers for that particular chipset...that'd probably be easier..

(from what Ive seen, all the chipsets are the same 1394 one from TI)
