If you’ve ever wondered what it looked like when the HTML rendering engine in Firefox renders the page you are viewing, these videos are for you. Here is one of the Mozilla website:

Everything takes a lot of processing power these days. Every time your processor gets 2x faster, software will find 2x the things to do in the background...even if it just means being redundant. More cores? Great! We can spend even less time on making our processes more efficient! That one clock cycle hog can go to the first core while we do other stuff on the second one. The user will never even know!
