PGP Desktop, haven't used it myself but I've heard it's good. I use PGP for mail encryption and its fantastic (one of the strongest encryptions around).

Do you have XP Pro? If so use EFS. Just make sure you backup your certificate.

I use truecrypt, it's pretty similar to pgp desktop but more minimal. does a good job of mounting an encrypted image as a removable drive which is all i want.

Yeah. It's really easy to use, and seamless.

Try this cryptext it is simple to use just install it then right click on any item anywhere on your computer select encrypt and select a password and you can choose to store the password locally on your machine or in your head in you head is safer that is if you don't talk in your sleep especially if you're trying to hide your pron from your wife that is ;) .

Specs. for the program.

Cryptext

Sometimes you'd just rather not share your files with anyone. Install this freeware, right-click on any file, and encrypt it using a 160-bit key. It uses a combination of SHA-1 and RC4 cryptographic algorithms to encrypt files, and generates a value to ensure that no two files are encrypted with the same keystream. This shell extension is available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese versions

tks crptytxt seems to do the job 4 me , i dont need encryption just purely password protect folders ....

but crptext shows the file names , i actually dndt want ppl seeing my file names as well .. is it possible ?? or ill need brwose for diff programe?

just give the file some oblivious name or number just make sure you remember its name and password and where you put it.

Setup your own user on the computer, then deny access to everyone except yourself to your porn folder. Done.
