Anyone ever notice how long WinRAR takes to open a rar set of 50+ files??

Is there a better program? I tried 7-Zip, but it would take just about as long, even on a CLEAN install.
 
If you have 2 hard disks like i do, try unraring from one disk to another, the extraction process flies that way.

I usually am doing it that way, but it's not the extraction I'm questioning, it's the launch speed of the program, just seems abysmally slow sometimes.
 
Never noticed a slowdown while loading winrar, the version i currently use is 3.42, i know 3.50 is out but havnt tried it yet.

Maybe flushing windows prefetch helps winrar to load faster, its worth a try
