Fallout 4

Update to pass along: it seems that a few, if not many, of my issues with Fallout 4 may not be the fault of the game itself. Found out today that I have a bad sector on my Samsung 990 Pro 2TB.
Not crapping on you at all but just in general: This is one of the reasons I'm wary when taking people's reports of crashes super seriously. Too often there is an issue on the computer itself, not related to the software, usually one that you know nothing about.

Bit on the Fallout 4 Creations Bundle. What I like right off the bat is it doesn't install every mod in the list. Instead I get to pick and choose what to install.

Grabbed The Varmint Rifle, a few quest mods and a few skins. I have to say The Varmint Rifle just became my new favorite weapon to own. Fast reloading, able to attach a silencer and other mod options make it a great rifle.

There are also several other mods to change Dogmeat into whatever breed you want. I have him as a Pitbull right at the moment but am thinking of changing him into a Rottweiler.

I am happy with the $20 spent.

Fixed Fallout 4 crashing issue. Turned out to be Game Bar crapping out. Force removed Game Bar then stopped the error message from popping up.

Been playing for several hours now without a crash.

Edit: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand my character just got mauled by three radscorpions because I'm running without defense buffs

I'm horrible lolol

In Nuka World at the point to either turn off the power to get the goods or accept Petrovita's suit I accepted the suit which made her happy then cut the power anyways. Needless to say Petrovita aggro'd on me so I ran out without killing her.

Good 'ol Nuka World. That's one of the best DLC's I've played in forever. Basically since the 1990's and "DLC" came on a disk as an "expansion pack."

Nuka World is a slog. Old World Blues was better.

Agreed though Lonesome Road is tied with OWB imo.

Nuka World does have its attraction. The storyline is pretty good especially how it integrates with the Commonwealth which, if followed through, pisses off one of the worst voiced characters in the game.

I especially like the stories for two locations - Kiddie Kingdom and Safari Adventure. Both stories pulled at the heart strings in different ways especially the Kiddie Kingdom story as it played on false hope.

Far Harbor is the best DLC for FO4!

Yes, it absolutely is. A tale of a faction trying to force their ideals on a faction who is just trying to survive and both are intertwined in betrayal from a third who have created a supposedly safe haven for the unwanted.

Roughly 1/2 through rebuilding Egret Tours Marina. Didn't want to hear Phyllis' whining again so she got a face full from a fully upgraded double barrel shotgun then her body was dropped into the water. Didn't have a companion with me to witness the carnage so no negative affinity there. :D

Started off by replacing the sidewalk pieces. Thankfully sidewalk pieces from mod Snappy House Kits. Took all of 10 minutes to fix. Fully scrapped the main building to the left, placed the floors then created seven rooms:

Two for shops (clothing and medical), two others above the shops for the NPCs who'll be running the shops. Three floors in the main building:

Bottom for food, one for Medical and another for the NPC beds. Planning on making this location the money maker.

The barn / warehouse was completely rebuilt using stock Warehouse objects. Took me a good forty minutes to rebuild in a way that kept the stock look. Going to be used as a store front.

Next up is the pier which I'll be rebuilding using a Kraggles Structures - Pier Prefabs from Nexus Mods. It does the trick yet there are a few pieces missing from the base game. Started adding those pieces in a mod I'm creating.

There will be a diner. Clean and presentable.

The VR portion of the story is really annoying, though.

Did they make it easier after release? I remember getting pissed at it when I first played through the game on the release of the DLC, but I did it again recently and it was super easy to figure out.

No idea. I haven't gotten that far yet for my Xbox PC achievement run.
