I wonder if it's going to be free for FO4 GOTY owners like Skyrim SE was for OG owners who had all the DLC's?Skyrim AE must have sold well. I guess Bethesda cashed in on another way to get people to keep buying the same game.
AE wasn't free for Skyrim SE or Skyrim owners. Maybe the base game was, but not the version that includes all the extra stuff.I wonder if it's going to be free like Skyrim SE was for OG owners who had all the DLC's?
I know...that's why I said SE and not AE.AE wasn't free for Skyrim SE or Skyrim owners. Maybe the base game was, but not the version that includes all the extra stuff.
Ja, but we have a comparison to look to regarding the AE with Skyrim.I know...that's why I said SE and not AE.
Exactly and they just skipped the SE and went straight to the AE.Ja, but we have a comparison to look to regarding the AE with Skyrim.

Doesn't sound like any edition gets it free.Update for you all. Latest patch dropped. Received AE for free. 150 new mods added.
Currently removing all of the non-AE mods and am starting fresh. Will run stock until the must have mods have been updated to support the new patch.
Call me crazy but I think this gunna be gud.
Yeah I hear every one gets the Creations Menu free but the CC content is till $20 regardless.Doesn't sound like any edition gets it free.

If you own the standard edition of Fallout 4, you can pick up the Anniversary Edition Upgrade to receive the 6 expansions and the 150+ pieces of Creation Club content.
If you own the Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition and just want to get the Creation Club content, you can get the Creations Bundle separately.
I own GOTY and Steam is saying I need to pay $19.99 for the Creation Bundle. Do you own the "Ultimate" version that came with the pipboy from 2015? Maybe they got it free.

Either way I've had FO4 on read only since the last update and FOLON, and I have over 200 mods stockpiled on a drive that I don't feel like redoing. Especially since a lot of them are not supported anymore.
$20 is a fucking scam for some mods that I could get a free and better version of and I didn't use VATS anyways.
All kinds of hate on the FO4 forum. The CC doesn't even work and the base game itself is now borked even after a wipe and a fresh start modless.
Nope, looks like another Skyrim AE fiasco again smh.
I'm the opposite. The majority of my play time and mod time was on the GOG version and London on the Steam versionOuch, I let it update today. I'd forgotten they were doing this. On the upside I have the gog version for the london mod I guess. My steam version was non modded as I've never really gotten into the game.

A bunch of us said this back in the day.Horse Armor DLC was the beginning of the end...
Thanks for taking one for the team.Jiminy Crickets this update is a fucking mess.
Stock game, no mods outside of Creations which came with the update, no alterations, kicks me out randomly. Creations mods which loaded on day one of the release do not load when they are clearly present. Verified files, started new playthrough, etc., same shit, different day.
I'm going through the coding to see what Bethesda fucked up, again. Also going to place Steam in offline mode in the event it is an outside source that is causing the kick-outs.
Thanks for taking one for the team.
As someone who has invested over 6,000 hours into Fallout 4, this latest 'update', per se, has blindsided me with less than a subpar experience. I understand when testing an update Bethesda is doing so within their own environment; at least, that is what I've come to recognize over the many years of playing Bethesda titles. I understand Bethesda cannot account for every different mod configuration out in the wild. They cannot account for every different system configuration out in the wild.
That said, even on a stock, no mods configuration, this 'update' is a slap in the face of every Fallout 4 gamer out there. Crashes that cause a system reboot. CTDs. Purchased mods not downloading or downloaded mods not installing. It's rather disgraceful if you ask me. It's messed up that Bethesda released this 'update' without fully going through a proper QC process. I can play the game without mods and it will CTD. With mods CTDs become worse even though the mods are with the latest updates. Mods I've used for years prior to the update.
What I would recommend Bethesda do is tighten their internal QC as this release is absolutely garbage.
Which is odd because didn't they actually work with the modding community on Skyrim SE and AE?
He is a mod maker that does the SimsSettlements mods and Work Shop Framework is probably the mod he is referring to.Who the f is kinggath and what mod are you talking about?
Sorry, thought all FO4 players that use mods know about Sim Settlements. I think that he and his team know more about the engine than Bethesda.Who the f is kinggath and what mod are you talking about?
I can't speak to VR or the new updates, but in general the game is worth playing. I didn't love it, but I enjoyed it. Obviously you need to like the Bethesda formula in the first place, it is a Bethesda game and they make one kind of game but it was fun.I never played FO4, I had skipped it. I've heard good things about FO4 VR with mods so I'm kinda tempted to play through it in VR.
I used to be able to run it at ultra without issue, but now it will silently crash every 2-5 minutes if I try to use it. I know it's always been buggy, but it's worked for me in the past
Weapon debris should not be run under any circumstance. FO4 101.
