hi, i havean external hd case, and a 10gig ide hd hat i have connected to it, the hd has been formatted using the "my computer" management and the hd just wouldnt show up in the window with my other drives wen it is connected,i disconnected it and connected it to one of my only exsisting ide cables that run from my burner and it is picking up from there using the drive letter of my burner, but it just wouldnt show wen i have it in the external case, it turns on in the case and sounds like it is working but i see nothing on my pc saying that it is recognezed, i go to DM and i select disk drives and it is picking it up as a usb device but wen i hit populate it says it is unable to read, what might be the problem?
