External case for sata drive?

I just replaced the 160Gb Apple drive in my iMac G5 with a Maxtor 300gb drive. I'd like to find a reasonably priced enclosure that will let me use the old drive as a backup or project drive using either usb2 or firewire 400. All the cases I find are either over $100, or they are designed as raid enclosures and are even more expensive. I have found one quad interface enclosure for $109, but I am hoping to find a simpler enclosure cheaper than that. An ideas appreciated.

I'll let you know how it works for me once I get it in. I have to say, part of my reason for getting it is because I love how they look. I've seen the black ones before, and they're pretty sweet. They do get good reviews too, so my entire decsion wasn't made on looks :) Yesterday is was cheaper, and had free shipping. So if you're interested in this model but not ready to order yet, check newegg often to see if it goes on sale again.

Otherwise, Newegg has quite a few options for external enclosures. Some are in the $30 range, and get solid reviews. Firewire is going to be hard to come by at a decent price (you'll have limited options I'm guessing), but USB 2.0 isn't a problem. Personally, I'd consider eSATA. It isn't plug and play from what I'm told, but it does give you access rates that are that same as if the drive was inside your computer. Most cases I was looking at come with eSATA and USB 2.0.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll look for your review. I'd definitely go with esata if it wasn't for an iMac, I am still looking into it for a dual G5 at work. I'm going to keep looking for firewire for a bit, but will go with Usb if I can't find a reasonable one.

Sorry....I totally looked over the fact that you were using an iMac (so eSATA is a no go). Something else you might want to consider is getting a SATA to IDE adapter for your hard drive (I found a few options online for around $25--Addonics get good reviews), and then get an IDE case with firewire (which there are a ton of for reasonable prices). That might be a more cost effective solution if you can't find anything else. I'll still review the Vantec case once it comes in :)

After all this help, I've decided to just give the drive to my son to use in his PC. I'll just go ahead and get a new external drive. Thanks to all of you for your assistance.
