i got WinXP sp2 installed, everytime i go to my computer and double click one of my hard disks it opens up a search window for that hard drive instead of just opening it. in order to acess it i have to right click explore



its not that big of the problem but its kind of annoying.

You've made an incorrect change to the context handler for drive types. Run

"regsvr32 /i shell32.dll"

without the quotes from a command prompt in the %windir%\system32 directory to fix it.
