Ethernet controller??

Hi

I have Asus p6t mobo.

In device manager there is a yellow question mark next to 'Ethernet Controller'.

How do I fix this??

Ethernet Controller is a Wireless or Wired NIC(Network Interface Card). If you are using this computer with Internet, I am guessing that motherboard has two NIC's and only the drivers for one are installed.

It most likely wants a driver for it, so install the proper driver for that device. Easiest way is to use the disc that came with your motherboard, if it is built into the motherboard.

Or, get it online.

http://support.asus.com -> Download > Motherboards > Socket LGA1366 > P6T > LAN > Pick the Marvell or Realtek driver you are missing.

Probably the easiest way to figure out which is by looking at what you do have in device manager, or a very accurate but complicated way is a program called Unknown Devices ( http://www.halfdone.com/Development/UnknownDevices/ )

Excuse my complete answer, not sure what you know or don't know.
