Edifier QR65

I placed a order for these hope they are good for gaming. Coparing them to 350 DBs also Edifiers going going to use the RCA connector to Aux.

Should be here today hope they are useable anyway some of the reviews have me worried. They are the same size as my Edifier 350 DBs.
I still might be able to use the Woofer from those on these depends on how it works out. Worst Fear they will be Twangy as Hell unless everyone on Youtube is lying to the highest degree.

Update: After reinstalling RealTek Drivers these things Rock I guess I needed drivers not sure if they still support Win 11 last update on the Realtek website was 2024.
I guess I don't need the Subwofer now.

Also got my Aux cable 3.5mm jacks to work. Just a Driver issue but decided not to use them since 7.1 Headphones sound better in games. So put my Zen2 IFI away.

I just had to Download this Asus Realtek program part of my Z790 motherboard and change the settings from performance to Powerfull the Extreme setting is too much.

Nice, glad it was “Windows being Windows” and not the QR65s themselves.

Amazing how many speakers go from meh to “oh damn” once you get the proper Realtek/Asus stack dialed in.

I placed both Speakers closer to myself I own a 36" deep desk I had the speakers too far away from my ears. I went ahead and bought the T5s subwoofer since my old one won't work with these. I put aside the Speaker stands that came with the setup using my old Amazon stands. Hoping the Sub compliments the Speakers better then Stand alone I used to turn the Bass all they way down on my 350dbs those sound like ass too without the Bass.

The clarity is good I can pick out voices better in Borderlands 4 but without the Bass kinda tin can like. They do have a built in Bass design cut out in the back but its hardly worthy.

I have the Bass today T5 Slim it's OK I thought I would be blown away by it but it's just there and does it's job I'm running white noise though it now see if I can get more out of it.
I think it would be better if I had a AMP besides my motherboard. If you have a 350DB set by Edifier just keep that you won't be missing out on anything alot of my sonds just Youtube rips only sound really quiet with the sub on this setup while my 350DB set really was better. I haven't played a game yet see what happens.

The woofer is pretty nice for games stuff is pretty clear with the QR65 I had to turn down my MB to performance.

I turned off the EQ setting using Win11 Audio the stuff sounds way better. Otherwise you get like all this background stuff just coming at you it just sucks. Some way more like my previous set. I couldn't disable it in Realtek's proggy for some reason.

I finally figured out how to use my IFI Zen Dac with my speakers Just plug in the RCA output from the Zen Dac into the QR65 then plug in the USB in the PC. Sound pretty good I wasn't sure if I could do this at first "some stuff" sounds better than the Realtek onboard. Would like to see if the Fosi K7 Dac would sound on my setup but if it's no better than my Zen Dac I don't care. The thing is I would need another plug in the powerstrip for the K7.

Was wondering for the past two weeks why my music sounded like ass at low volumes in Media player I didn't have the Volume turned up on the Media player it'self the system volume was turned up to like 20-30 but the Media player was down to like 50 or something so turned it up to 91 presto.
