Got myself an E2180 after disappointing results of my Q6600 (sold to father) and waiting on a Q9x50 chip. Also went from a GA-N650SLI (its for sale actually) to an Asus P5K-E Wifi.
PC specs are:
Antec P182 case
Asus P5K-E Wifi
E2180 @ 3.2Ghz (8x400 1:1 memory, 1.5325v 1.42 actual)
TR U120E
5 120MM NMB Silent 65CFM here: x
OCZ 4Gb Vista Upgrade DDR2-800
Corsair HX520 PSU
Evga 8800gts 320mb
Raptor 74Gb Main OS
Maxtor 300Gb Storage
Anyhow, I'll try to outline my settings:
Using 8x multiplier, 400mhz FSB,
memory setting at DDR2-801*(it doesn't show the divider, just what the memory will be running at, in this case 1:1)
PCIe locked at 100mhz
NB bumped 1 step up in voltage (can't remember the voltage)
and thats it I think. I didn't adjust the ram timings, its not the fastest ram in the entire world, but it does the job.
Vista performance guide thing shows all 5.9s except the primary hard drive
lol
here is a screenshot of the overclock:

another question for anyone, as you see in Orthos, my CPU shows up at 4ghz, as well as windows, mirc system scripts, etc. What gives? Is the board reporting 10x multiplier because thats whats default? Seems sorta weird, never experienced it before. I figured 3.2ghz would be the sweet spot for this chip, esp using 1:1 memory and 400mhz FSB.
Any input would be appreciated.
