Is it just me, or does the Doom3 Multiplayer Server Browser just blow big chunks? First off, sorting by ping simply doesn't work. Then filtering out Password Protected servers also doesn't work. And apparently the number of free slots isn't accurate either, because plenty of servers listed as 1/4 (one player out of four slots) report as full when trying to join them.

WTF?

Is anyone else having these problems? Any ideas for work arounds?
 
Yes. . .I have all the problems you listed as well. Unfortunately, I don't know any way to fix or correct those issues. I'm just waiting patiently for a patch to be released.
 
yea im having the same problems also. i think these are some very common glitches that id need to take a look at if they wish to make any more profits from Doom 3
 
one thing you can try is to look at the ip of the server, then try directly connecting to it. just bring down the console and do /connect x.x.x.x:xxxxx

that usually works for me.
