I have yet to see this asked/answered:

What are the hardware requirements for a *dedicated 4 player (8 once it's enabled hehe) Doom3 server?

Dedicated, meaning running in console mode. I'm guessing they wouldn't be too high as the player count is rather low. Naturally some solid bandwidth should be needed on the server side.

Is a separate copy of Doom3 required to run a dedciated Doom3 server? :confused:

RTFM....real classy. Would help if I had the game which won't be available until this Friday in Tokyo. I read the readme.1st and saw no mention of it. Come to think of it I perused the
scans of the manual and didn't see any mention of it.

Highly doubtful. You should be able to get the dedicated server files from id's site sometime soon, having to own the game to run a server wouldn't be smart.
