Just curious how the chainsaw feels in doom3? Do you actually cut into your enemies and they chew them down? Or does it not feel very realistic and you just touch them with it to damage them?

Can someone post some screenies of the Chainsaw in action? Thx! ;)
 
My question is, why are there chainsaws on Mars? Chainsaws are used primarily to cut wood. I haven't seen anything even remotely resembling wood except for my gun grip.

It certainly won't chew through Martian rock or the alloy bulkheads all over the place on Mars.

Wow, I bet half the people who are old enough to remember the original Doom's release still remember this stupid argument.
 
The reason for chainsaws on Mars is explained in the game. Make sure to read all the emails you get on the PDAs.

the chainsaw in doom3 is just like the one in doom2. Not very realistic at all. But then again, it wouldn't be any fun if it was. You just wave it around like a crazy mad man and kill stuff you hit with it.

As far as I know there a bunch of "Amazonian" women on mars....
