DOOM 3 DIRECT X 9.0C COMPABILiTY

i been reading around and people been saying that doom 3 is not compatable with direct x 9.0c has anybody experience this problem?

It uses OpenGL instead of Direct3D, however, D3 is probably using other parts of DirectX.
 
it better be compatable, i just fomatted last night and put on DX9c, i better not have to format again :mad:
 
Running Dx9c here and i have no issues with Doom3, haven't crashed yet. :eek:
