What's the best dictation software out? I've heard of Dragon Naturally Speaking, but don't know if it's any good (or if there are any better). Also, just how good is it? Will it be worth purchasing for a person who won't have a 'administrative assistant' for several months? Thanks.
 
it is crap. :p

I've been trying voice dictation software on and off for years now (since '99 or so) and I still haven't found anything that works well.
 
it's still a developing technology. my dad's a doctor and has been experimenting with dragon a bit. he says it's not bad but nowhere near perfect.
 
I have used dragon naturally speaking and it took so long to get going i might as well have just trained a money to hit the right keys for me. Atleast then i know it was the monkey and not some computer error.
