I finished the second mission on legendary and the stasis turrets with coldsnap gloves that gives you double grenades topped off with devour makes it so much easier.Legendary campaign was pretty good... WQ felt very uneven at times, with some fights being 'bang your head against the wall' and some a walk in the park. This felt like a relatively constant amount of pain, and then the last fight just a slight increase in length, and toughness.
Some clanmates said it was pretty easy on a warlock all the way through as they did phoenix dive / stasis turret / getaway artist. I did it on a titan, swapping into Pyrogale or Precious Scars on the 'harder' fights (looking at you tormentors in a confined area).
I'm thinking I should have done it backwards in terms of what classes I play, an invis hunter with Lucky Pants w/ Malf or Thorn would have been a breeze, too. But I mainly play Titan, then Warlock, then Hunter as my least, but there is no denying that Lucky Pants build just make everything pretty trivial, and it would work great with Prismatic, too.I finished the second mission on legendary and the stasis turrets with coldsnap gloves that gives you double grenades topped off with devour makes it so much easier.
Them making devour proc on any ability kills was amazing and I love it lol.
What I'm really enjoying is how consistently difficult the legendary campaign is. It's hard, but not unfairly so.
I'm half way through the 4th mission (been to busy to play) and every death felt like I earned it and need to readjust my playstyle to beat that encounter. It's been very refreshing and enjoyable, having an absolute blast with it so far.
Saying Destiny 2 is lost by dated Halo mechanics is nonsense. I can't think of many shooters out there that are even close to as smooth, fluid, or responsive as Destiny 2 is. Now design wise, narratively, etc. I have many issues with Destiny 2. But it is a great shooter at its very core. The only thing that's wrong with it as a shooter are the MMO aspects of it that naturally ruin it as a shooter. Those elements are not remotely rooted in Halo.Bungie layed off 220 people but Sony will hire them maybe they can bring EverQuest 3 to the public skip H1Z1. Destiny is lost by dated Halo mechanics.
You will be waiting for a very long time.I'm still waiting on Destiny 3. They've been adding new content to 2 since the Nixon administration. A fresh coat of paint and loud exhaust doesn't change what's under the hood. Every time I pop back in, I shrug off the new content and bail again. Gimme something truly new.
Not all. Halo Infinite is 343 and not Bungie. The 343 Halo games are not nearly as good as Bungie games in terms of fluidity, frame rate smoothness or tight shooting mechanics. That said, Destiny 2 is a live service game. Its a shooter combined with light MMO elements and RPG mechanics. That makes enemies bullet sponges and you have to use abilities and "builds" for your character that allow you to do enough damage to kill anything at an acceptable speed. Halo games are much simpler games. Also, Halo's single player stories are presented via actual dialog and cinematic cut scenes like most games of that type. Destiny 2 presents its story in a lackluster fashion where much of the story is told through weird menus you pull up off of weapons and armor. There are some occasional cut scenes but they often lack context if you aren't a super nerd that chases down the game lore. It does a horrendous job of presenting its story. So if I like the way Halo Infinite played, will I like this?
Pretty much. You will be waiting for a very long time.
