Been getting weird artifacts on my desktop with itunes and pidgin. I can see to figure out what it is. I am using the most recent version of the drivers avaliable and I have even had my Ram, Motherboard, and GPU RMAed and still the issue continues.

This happens when moving windows over the itunes or pidgin windows and I can fix it by moving the application outside of the windows to have it rewritten.

Anyone ever seen a issue like this before? I don't have issues inside of games. Does it look like a CPU or PSU issue?

Hardware:
Intel Core 2 Q6600
Evga nforce 680i SLI
Evga Geforce 8800GTS
Corsiar Dominator DDR 1066
Corsiar CMPSU 520HX

- Do you have another monitor that you can test with?
- Have you done a complete reformat and reinstall yet?
- And just for the hell of it:
Download the CD image of Hitachi Drive Fitness Test, burn the ISO file to a CD, and then boot from it, just like you would do with the XP/Vista install CD. Test the hard drive and see if any problems are found. DFT will run on most manufacturers' hard drives. Alternatively, you can use Seagate's SeaTools for DOS to test a Seagate or Maxtor drive. For a Western Digital drive, you could use Data Lifeguard Tools for DOS to test a Western Digital drive.
