So I just wanted to state that danny bui is the man he has helped me out on over 4 builds and all have been solid.

My most recent is a rebuild from a downed computer(that wasn't getting any beep codes). He helped me find a nice and cheap cpu/mobo/ram deal and they are working perfectly.


Also he turned me onto a few cases that are way better than the Antec 900(which I own also). The current one is the C 690 II.


Below is the new build and the case comparisons:

But not to be a debbie downer here but not exactly a fair comparison since the 690 has the shorter mATX mobo and the 900 has the ATX mobo.

Anyway good luck with the rebuild!

I want to make a small observation though.. I would work on cable management. try for a neater sleeker look.

Very true and the fact that a full pci-e video card gets in the way of some of the harddrive bays on the 900. You can't tell since I have removed the video card and put it in the 690.
 
Big agreement with the OP. Danny Bui is great. If I start wondering what is worth getting, I just come here and read what he suggests.
 
Danny has been a great asset here, always helpful. We are glad he accepted our invitation to join the moderating team. :)

In any case, that picture still showcases the faults of the Antec 900 very well compared to the CM 690 II case despite the slightly unfair comparison.
 
Danny is the best he has helped me with many builds & even my current. I even bought him a game for xmas that he never plays :( (Capone cries alittle) but anyways I ordered a 6950 2gb for my current build which will complete the master piece Danny helped with so it will be here on friday. I figured what the hell ill throw my pics on here also

Once the 6950 gets here I need to redo the wiring it looks messy to me

When I got back into the high end desktop arena to build my new machine, his posts brought me back up to speed extremely quickly, and his info always seems to be right on the money.
