D3 is actually reserved by Descent 3...so either we need a new nickname for doom 3 (bad idea)..or we dethrone Descent 3 in favor of Doom 3..

All in favor for the motion of dethroning Descent 3, yay or nay.
 
who really cares about descent 3 right now?...Doom 3 is the only D3 around right now.

i think most people will always refer to it as D3 ... i know I will when talking to friends... just like D2 for diablo2.
