I have a t60 14.1" SXGA+ screen that is going crazy on me. I am not even certain how to describe it so that I can find the solution via google or forum searches.

YouTube Vid

The color seems to fade in and out. If I grab the screen by the top two corners and press away with my thumbs and towards me with my fingers the image is fixed. So my best guess is bad connection.

Looks like horrible backlight placement, it might be possible to fix it if you take the screen apart and place the lights back correctly.

I had a customer who didn't want to replace their LCD so they clipped paper clips (think black V shaped ones) on the top and the image was fixed, pretty funny that they kept it that way. I didnt watch the video but i've seen plenty of laptop LCD connections find their way loose, I would take the display apart and check all connections.

Dont be afraid of taking a laptop apart, its no big deal - just do it and you'll learn.
