Hello.

I just reinstalled my slipstreamed version of XP on my main (used to have vista) I run a BFG 8800GT OC, and DFI Ultra-D modded to SLI, opteron 144, 2 gigs of gskill ZX ram.

okay well, i went to nvidia website and downloaded the chipset drivers and the 177.41 display drivers. When i go to install the display drivers i get this error. "The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatable with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

I tried installing the card from device manager.

this motherboard is "new" as i bought it from someone on here just a little while ago. The graphics card worked fine in vista. My previous motherboard was and SLi-DR Expert.

could it be that because it is modded to SLi that it needs the SLi version of the Nvidia Drivers for the chipset causing this error? I dont understand why its not working, The person that owned this card before me had the non modded ultra-d version with this ram and video card and it worked flawlessly.

perhaps the motherboard needs its bio's flashed? Any ideas?
