Constant memory problems

So I just built my new system and when I first got it, it worked fine for a couple of days. Then I started getting a blue screen with a different memory related error each time. I ran a memtest, and found that one of my memory sticks was defective. I tested to make sure it was the stick, not the slot, by putting the two sticks in different slots, and each time the good one tested fine, and the defective one tested as defective. So of course I returned the memory and bought two sticks of the same type of memory, just a different brand. Now, once again, it's been working fine for a couple of days until this morning I got the dreaded blue screen again. It seems to be working fine for now, but I don't want it to stop as soon as I'm no longer able to RMA anything. So, has anyone had similar problems? Any help is appreciated.

System specs:

DFI LanParty Ultra D
AMD 3700+ San Diego
1 GB 3200 DDR (Mushkin Enhanced memory)
NVIDIA 6800GT
 
I had similar problems iwth my current rig, see sig. I could barly get the thing to boot, and ended up having to run with only 1 stick for a while. The only difference is i had 2 gb of ballistix. One of hte sticks would error in memtest so i sent it back. I got it back and still had the same problems. I ended up getting theOCZ taht i currently have. My recommendation is to get new ram, maybe a different brand. If that dont work then RMA the mobo.

hmm... yeah looks like it might be the mobo then. Too bad DFI's site is down. I'd like to check out their forums to see if there's a known solution and get the firmware updates.
