Computer Shutting Off

Well I have been having some problems with my computer, it would shut off while playing video games. I replaced the motherboard, replaced the CPU, replaced the power supply, replaced the ram, if I ran two fans directly onto my CPU I could play diablo II, mechwarrior 4, battlefield 2 without the computer shutting off but I can only run my CPU which is an AMD XP 3000 at 1300mhz otherwise the system shuts off before it can even boot into windows. Then I was playing Medal of Honor Allied Assault and the computer would shut off after 5-10 minutes. I got Prime 95 and I would run it and the computer would shut off on every torture test after about 2-4 minutes. I would watch the CPU temperature rise from about 45 to 46 to 47 then 48 then wham just shut off. My voltage didn't change just my temps. I installed water cooling now, a custom kit from Danger Den and it seems to be working good, keeps my temps at about 42 celsius, I run Prime 95 and i heat up to about 47 after 10 minutes and comp doesn't shut off but if I try and turn my CPU up to the clock speed it should be at my computer still does the same thing, shuts off after a minute, no time to even see my temps go up because I barely get into windows. I haven't run Prime 95 long enough to see if it will shut off my CPU when it reaches 48 or 49. All I can think of now is my 550w power supply is a cheapo one so I am getting a 580w Antec, hopefully that might be it, otherwise all I can think of is my Radeon 9700 video card. Any ideas?

if its running that hot at that low speed, check to make sure ur cpu is making good contact with the heatsink. check to make sure the termal paste or pad is good.

that really sucks.. you have eliminated all of the other components, it may be your video card... see if you can borrow one to see if that is the problem before going out to buy one... what kind of thermal paste do you use and how much did you apply between the hsf and cpu?
