computer freezing

system in my sig. a couple nights ago it was freezing every 5 minutes, if my computer didnt keep on freezing while filling out the order i would have just gotten a new motherboard on ebay. i've had periodic problems with freezing for last month or so. whenever it freezes i have to turn off the power supply and turn it back on to get the computer to restart.

i'm not certain what the problem is, it could be the processor or the power supply. but i'm leaning towards the motherboard. any ideas of how to fix it?

the processor has been running at 600mhz for the past couple weeks because the system seems to be more stable.
 
the psu is pretty new, how does antecs warranty program work. i have a really shitty $10 450w psu that i took apart and modded, would that really be any better?
