What type of performance could I expect out of c&c 3 on my macbook?

specs are 2ghz c2d, 1 GB RAM

I can run c&c generals at the lowest settings with no slow down even during long games.
 
Not sure, but i have an 1.6GHz C2D, 2 gig ram, geforce go 7400, and its barely playable.
 
Really depends on your video hardware. I expect that only upper end 7 series parts or better would run the game decently.
 
I currently have vista running via bootcamp on my MBP with the X1600 128MB video card. C&C3 can run at medium at native resolution(1440x900). It is noticable when scrolling the screen, so it maybe annoying to some, but I can make do.
 
Yeh my MBPro ran it OK but I don't think a MB would like it much at all.

IMHO you're not missing out on much - Red Alert 2 was my fav :)

Totally different game, infact it's not even a legit C&C :D

I play C&C3 on my Dual AMD Athlon 1.53ghz with a nVidia 5900XT. It runs very nicely albiet on the lowest settings.

If your Macbook cannot run the game, I'd probably blame the lack of a dedicated graphics card. C&C3 is a heavy game.
