I running an emachine m6807 and would like to access cmos so I can improve some settings, but I can't seem to get in I only can get BIOS which shows me bios setup utility and displaying limit things.

See what I want to do is increase ram speed and other mother board setting but they are not availible or visible on any of the bios screens.

Someone please respond I need info.

Thanks

emann

1. BIOS settings and CMOS settings are the same thing.

2. If you have already entered in to the BIOS setup screen, that is all that is available. The settings you are searching for are not adjustable on these machines, and thus, not made available.

3. What are you doing trying to change these settings, obviously knowing so little about the topic to begin with?

If you are looking for an overclock, google for clockgen.
