What chat programs do you use? I want something that can handle AIM, Yahoo, etc - is there anything better then Trillian?
 
Trillian is my fav, theres also gaim if ur a linux fan, i think gaim 4 windows sucks compared to the linux version
 
i use trillian all the time

also, if you want a good irc client get xchat, it comes in both windows and linux flavors and is free
 
Trillian is a nice concept...But trust me, after a while...You'll want to go back to the individual programs because they have more bugfixes and features then their counterparts in Trillian.
 
Trillian 3 is terrible. Version 2 was great...version 3 is a completely different story. I switched to Miranda and I'm glad I did. Trillian 3 is a bloated pos. The only thing I miss is video chat, but even that was terrible in Trillian 3 as it uses about twice as much cpu as the standalone clients (Yahoo is the only one I've tested though). If you don't need video chat Miranda is great...very minimal, extremely low on resources, and very customizeable...on it's own and with plugins.

If you don't like version 3, why not just stick with version 2?
 
I like Trillian version three. I feel that it is better than 2. Haven't tried any others though.
