changing start menu shortcut targets

SO, im looking to change the target of the "my music" "my pictures", and so fourth, that are in my start menu, so they link to say, a folder on another partition. is this possible?
 
I think the closest thing you can do is, redirect your My Documents folder to another partition, which will in turn redirect my music, my pictures etc to that "new" my documents folder.
 
The easiest way would be to hide the shortcuts to the system folders, and then create shortcuts to the folders you want.
