I know there is some one out there that has run into the same problem. Have been burning my own audio cd's as of late and want to give some of them a more professional look. I'm a musican and want to make a couple demo discs without buying a litescribe or a new inkjet printer. The only problem is I have tried the glossy memorex media and the standard cd stomper media. Both jam in slot loading cd players though. Seem to be too thick. Can anyone out there give me a hint about which labels are thin enough not to jam in a slot loading cdr player? I'm using standard verbatim datalife discs. Are the discs themselves the culprits?
 
I wouldn't recommend labels because they will make a disc unbalanced. If a disc is unbalanced enough at a high speed, it can break apart, not good.
 
I've had CD manufacturers print our logo on the back of a few spindles worth of CD-Rs. The cost of having them run through the silk-screen machine is minimal.
