Hi, first time caller... I mean poster...

Okay, I'm gonna tell you guys how it is: I'm a n00b in computer stuff, so layman's terms, please? K, Thanks.

Anyways, I'm planing to build a new PC(yeah, like I know how to do that, but that's another problem, for another day) and the room my computer is in, the case right now is to the right of the desk. Now, today I was staring at my new gaming case on newegg... I just realized that the window on the case would just be blocked by the desk, my dreams of adding lighting is ruined :( .

Now I know some of you might say 'Move the case to the left of the desk, stupid.' or something like that, well it is possible, but it would look nice... I'm right handed so the computer is sort of shifted to the right on an angle, and it's a long desk.

Maybe I can put the monitor and keyboard and mouse on the right side of the desk, and the case on the left, but the wires will be tricky...

Any ideas? I'v seen people like putting their case drives facing the right, so the window panel shows, but that would be a pain to load CD's and stuff

Pictures would be awesome, but none the less... loading CDs and stuff shouldn't be too hard with your other hand. You'd eventually get used to it.

alright i would love to help but you have got me all jumbled up. my window is on the left side of my computer if you're looking at the front of the case. if this is how your case is just leave it on the right of the desk and have the window in YOUR FACE. hope this helped.

Yeah man, unless you're getting that one Lian-Li that is a G5 knockoff, having your computer to the right will have the proper position for the window (98% of the time). Unless you don't want the light towards you, which is a bit silly...

Hmmm, if the light is bothering you, just cover up the window with some cardboard and duct-tape. :D

(yes, I know he didn't say that, was just continuing on the thread.)
