Cable Management Tutorial or Tips/Tricks?

I did a search and didn't really find anything significant. Anyone know of any cable management tutorials or sleeving tips on this forum?
 
I saw that thread but I'm looking for a thread that has information on what sleeve's to use for what cables and that sort of thing. Plus....I never get "blazed" as you put it.:p
 
Hmmm...I'm sure that more than 5 minutes searching would've found you a result.

But just 'cos I'm nice, I'd recommend the Vantec Cable sleeving kit (in whatever colour you want). It's fairly self explanatory as to what size sleeving to use on which cables. But I think they include a short guide anyway
 
I've never had good luck with sleeving. It frays at the ends by the time I get it around the cables and it's a big pain in my butt.

I like that spiral stuff better. Looks neater in the end, I believe. And in a pinch, plain old cable ties work just fine, thankyewverymuch. :)

I've been contemplating experimenting with heat shrink tubing, but that promises to be an even bigger pain. Oh well.
