Building a new rig

I built my last PC in 09 decided I want a new one. Would just like some input from you guys to see if there is anything you would tweak.

Right now the price is sitting right around 1,600 and I would like to keep under 1800. If you have any suggestions please shoot. My goal is just for a solid gaming rig nothing to spectacular. Only thing I'm having issues with picking is the RAM. So here's what I got.

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6

ASRock 990FX

COOLER Master Silent Pro 1000W PSU

COOLER MASTER Case

G.SKILL RAM 16gb

Seagate Barracuda 1TB HD

GeForce GTX 560 x2

And i'll be running Win & 64-bit.
Like I said I'm really second guessing my choice of RAM so any input from you guys would be great. Thanks.

First off, Read and answer these.

Really, once you answer those we can be of a LOT more help.

Also, 16GB of ram is more than you need unless you are running VM's, or doing a LOT of multi-tasking/encoding etc. 8GB is always plenty for gaming and the vast majority of browsing. G. Skill is a legit brand.

Lastly, you will get a lot of suggestions that say go Intel CPU. With good reason.

I personally have an AMD 8150 and noticed that the 990fx chip-set works better with just 2 sticks of memory in the mother board. If you really need 16 gig of memory and like g.skill go with this

That's a silly choice of graphics cards if this is for gaming. For that price or less you can get a gtx 670 or 680 which greatly outperform those cards. You don't need that much PSU for that build, but if you're going 1KW go with the cheaper and better LZP 1000. You'd be fine going with a 600w range PSU.

You are better off getting a GTX 670, which you should be able to find much more easier than a 680.

PSU you chose is ok, but there are better 1000watt PSUs out there. That case is OK, but you could do better. ASrock for a mobo is usually a no no. The rest is doable. I found a GTX 560 Ti for $200, better go that route if you want, but at that point a single 670 is still better.
