) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? Some Gaming, but mostly for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, After Affects, & Premiere editing hd content.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included? $1200 or lower
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible. Boca Raton, Fl
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, Video Card, MOBO, PSU, Hard Drive, OS

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? CD ROM, I have a nice case but the usb ports on the front are broken. Sound Card.
6) Will you be overclocking? Maybe
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have? 22 inch might upgrade to 24
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? in the next month
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? usb 3.0 would be nice
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? Yes have xp pro but I'm getting windows 7 pro 64 bit

I might wait till the bulldozer amd chips come out & use that or see how much intel will lower their prices.

Do you mean next month or during this month? Reason why I ask is because what we recommend you now will not be what we recommend you next week, much less next month. Also what is the resolution of that monitor?

Danny, think we can get that sticky updated? Change the question to ask the resolution of the monitor, along with the size.

you know if you like your case enough you can always go on the company who makes them and im sure they have spare front ports for sale

Too soon to start planning a build man. Whatever PC parts we recommend in September may not be the same parts we recommend in October. So please come back 2-3 weeks before you buy and ask for advice then. You'll get up-to-date and current advice that way.

Thanks! :)

I agree with this statement. Unless you are wanting to buy right now, come back and just bump this topic and we'll get started on a nice build for you.

Intel tends to offer higher speeds at current pricepoints instead of lowering said pricepoints. :( So you simply get more bang for your buck, depending on how well BD competes performance-wise.
