I am looking to build a new box and I am having a little trouble with finding a suitable motherboard, as after I figure that out getting the other equipment will be much easier. I am looking to get a motherboard that supports PCI Express, DDR2, AMD 64 proc's, and SATA. I have seen a couple boards with PCI Express on newegg but they are all for Intel processors. Any suggestions on a motherboard to go with, or how long until they will be out?

Also is PCI Express backwards compatable with AGP 8x cards like say a Nvidia Ti-42008x?

From what I can remember AMD isn't going PCI Express right away (I could be thinking BTX though instead of PCI-Ex  ). So if you want those features (except AMD 64 proc's) then you go Intel.

That just shows a complete lack of understanding what PCI Express is, the answer would be no.
