HELP, I just got a new Dell comp and it was working ok. But it had some crap on it so I decided to format it. Dell had put 4 partions on the HD, I have no idea why so I made the minimum 2 partions, Installating of XP Home went OK and then sometimes when I would turn off my computer, windows would show the shut down screen, and then I would get a stop message:

STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC0000005, 0XBF80E4E2, 0XF6F9F474*, 0X00000000)

Win32k.sys - Address BF80E4E2 base at BF800000, Datestamp 41107F7A

* Sometimes I would see this number in its place 0XEC477C54

Anyone know what is going on. It DID do it once before I formatted my HD. I wanna fix it quick before the 21 day return period is over. Help please!
